Information Architecture?

The IA Institute defines Information Architecture as:

As information proliferates exponentially, usability is becoming the critical success factor for websites and software applications. Good IA lays the necessary groundwork for an information system that makes sense to users.

Number one, that's me.

The first definition most closely corresponds to much of the work I have done at companies over the past few years. I am expert at assessing the infrastructure at a company and designing applications that allow these companies to get at their data in a better way.
