Project Description
The Herbert List-Max Scheler Estate maintains many thousands of photographs taken by the late photographers. They needed a robust way of internally managing their collection of photographs, creating reports, and a way to display the work on the web. Constructing a customized DAM based on the free and open source one developed for Oxfam (ResourceSpace), I gave them a way to manage their collection through a web browser and keep their internal database in sync with the public database and website.
Custom plugins
I created numerous custom plugins for the system that allow creation of specialized reports, layouts, download customization, and more.
Website
After setting up their internal web-based photo archive, I designed and built a bilingual public website used for highlighting Scheler's life and work that is easily populated directly from the archive db, and perfectly adapted to mobile use.
