Increasingly alarmed over the state of US political life and realizing that poor voter turnout was one of the main obstacles to a better society, I (and a couple of friends) decided to do something about it. Thus was born Just Go Vote!, an app which tries to make the complicated process of voting easier and more manageable. Through the app, users can check their registration status, register to vote, find their polling place and get directions, get ballot information, and see a list of their current representatives. The app protects privacy strongly by not storing any information on our servers, not requiring an account signup, and deleting its own content upon app deletion. The app was built for multiple platforms including web/PWA, iOS, and Android.
